The god within you

 

The god within you cries,

Every time you walk away from its signs

It’s trying to tell you who you are,

Who you were meant to be.

 

It tells you right from wrong

Yet you don’t listen

You still do what you want

 

The God within you smiles,

When you realize you are blessed,

When you realize

I’m supposed to be dead

When you’re in the hospital bed.

 

All it wants is for you to be

Who you were born to be

All it wants is for you

To agree with the God within you,

Just agree.

What I am getting from this piece is that there is a place where God resides in us. But we are not paying attention. We need to time out and listen. Some people like to call this a conscious, or tapping into the good within ourselves. But I too call that voice God. Thank you for inviting me to read this. Your message is clear and of importance.
