Intangible

Intangible

A Poem by Skye Céibhfhionn

I drowned Knowingly in outwatered Patterns
[In Moments of self-devour]
Lost my Breath, my Sight, my Step
Unable to reach through the broken Moments
For shattered Mirrors colored my inability to Reflect
and Love granted me a Morning after Another
to Realize I was Losing
I Sacrificed

And while tears rained over my face
I could feel how Intangible I had become
[A Transparant wave of incoherancy]
Drop after drop of Translucent Reality clothed me
Creating Me as a painting of Vivid Illusion;
I broke further,
s c a t t e r e d
as a sample of Defects
This.. was not Me

And all that was Burning Inside
was an ice-etched Sun blooming the Evergreen in my Mind
[And for each fall I faltered
each Wind blew me a leaf to tread on]
Bled a carpet of Dying Pieces
Shed me into dust
Left me naked in the open
so easy to Detect
and stomp on; walk over
Forget

And I heard Me crying in My Mind
[That's why I Sensed Me,
and came to Find Me]
Reached out and Felt myself slip
...and slip further..

So I Melted Me into Immanence
Let myself Sink into this Intangible Omnipotence
so I could find Myself in this Inexhaustable

..Tangible..

Intelligible,
and Vivid

Paradox.

.. To Breathe..

Oh, I've missed reading you. Indeed... it's been too long. Self awareness... the realization of being... of "I am". ... "to breathe"....

I love the complexity of your work. It always causes me to travel within.. to explore what makes us tick... me tick. And on the flip, what causes us to shut down, to stop ticking. Funny, but many strive to master so many things in life, yet few have mastered "self".

A sheer pleasure to read and ponder, Skye. Thank you.

One Word....Amazing!, Superb!...I cheated that was two...Smiling.

I can not find a favorite line or stanza....I've been here and in the middle and in-between each word, meaning and line of what the wonderfully written, formatted piece say.

Its a favorite. Well written.

The photo you used for this goes very well with this poem you wrote.

Tank you for sharing from your heart.
