Remember September

Remember September

A Poem by Skye Céibhfhionn

Autumn rains in colors; painting Van Gogh on my walls
And Memories shaped in reds bury cries of Change.
Through this Change,
You're still a smiling and loving Memory inside me.

It's my birthday today, and the Source is bound to circle;
Seasons embrace each life and path this way.
And for me, on this day;
my Purpose,
like vine-swirling ever-greens,
stabilizes its roots in the bricks of my own surface.

Your face is still burnt on my eyes.

To always find my lost step in the blur of dying branches;
as if a single leaf carries a whole tree
should the trunk wither and die.
I just don't know if I'm strong enough to carry your Memory,
so that the world may never forget;
All I know for certain is that I'll carry your Love
for Ever.

And Forever is not even enough.

Love,
Autumn is a gentle walk, mostly
Bringing Hope to a September Child
Bringing art to an Open Mind
Bringing breath to the Creation
of this Soul.

I am still with You.
