Purpose

Purpose

A Poem by Skye Céibhfhionn
"

This is my Purpose.

"

..I see a swirl of lose ends
urging me to tie them together
Like taking a trip
     along the Milky Way
               of Illusion..
I see fingerprinting Eternities
ravaging the Hourglass of Man
Through these areas
     of Space Uncovered
                by my Third Eye

This is my personal Perception of my understanding of Purpose. Maybe it makes sense, maybe not. To me, however, it's crystal clear :)

The gateway to a higher consciousness..

Through these areas
of Space Uncovered
by my Third Eye

I love this. I have been doing a lot of reading re
the seven chakras; particularly the third eye...
and from chakra meditation, gain clearer pictures,
vision, understanding of purpose as well as opening
doors to incredible inspiration.

It matters not that it make sense to your reader,
as it is your own perception. It likely does,
though only based on their own perception.
That's the beauty of it....

Lovely work!

Very nice. Everyone wants to understand why we are here and what our purpose is after all This is well thought out and creative

I think this is the statement Carl Sagan was getting at with his "blue/ white pebble speech at the end of Cosmos.
This is probably the best example of photograph and poetry merging into visual poetry, describing the indescribable of life, us and how recognisable yet unique your words/ thoughts/ view are.

Fabulous imagery. Great way of looking at life - we get to tie it the way we want. Nice job.

It depends on how everyone see as his/her own purpose to achieve in life, and as for yours, it is deep and every word you carved in here contains the purpose you intend to achieve or achieved. Through your writing, I can see how you see things differently. Instead of admiring the surface, you would search for the depth for even meaningful beauty hidden beneath the surface. You are brilliant. Keep writing! :)

A wonderful soul-searching poem! Honestly, I think it's a bit cryptic, since to me it seems more like a journey to FIND your purpose than actually expounding on what it is (unless you want to be an astronomer?) But that just might be my reading it wrong, or perhaps it's too personal to you for me to understand. But! It's still a lovely soul-searching poem :)

Such a depth of beauty here, connected, moving, related, alive... Your words breathe the essence of life and light into darkness....

Damn... this was intense for such a short piece of poetry. The imagery was absolutely terrific and the words fit perfectly together. Whether or not I agree with this thought process of purpose it does nothing to take away from the fact that this is beautifully written and definitely portrays your ideas and perceptions wonderfully. Great piece of writing!

I really like the fact that the author sounds confident behind the meaning, its shows the piece as true, real
and lends quality to the idea, the scope of depth is a higher level, and also allows the reader to draw
their own conclusion, to me this masterpiece of illusion speaks of eternity and being on another plane
of thought, it is such a brilliant poem, because its rare to find poems written on the astral level of thought,
but more so I can relate to the truth behind the meaning, I could write an essay behind your poem.
As you bring to mind the ideas of creation, past, present and future, living and dying, the ideas contain
all of the elemnts of time in essence, and in the end your words make the leave one feeling enlightened
