Another Broken Smile

Another Broken Smile

A Poem by SkaiWeeks

Although he says no words to her

She cannot stop thinking of what would it be

If he were to realize he's her cure

Would she still cry to the extreme decree?

She can't stop thinking about him

And everytime she does

Her heart breaks a little more

And she's left with a lifeless buzz.

Even though she walked away

She came back

To find him loved and happy

And in no need of her and her lack.

He doesn't notice that he's the one she needs

To fix her heart and her smile

Because without him

Her whole world has turned vile.

She stays away to make him happy

But she wishes to turn the clock

To their memories and love

So if he ever comes back she'll sigh in shock.

He could give a tiny smile, a piece of his heart, or even a friendship

But everyday that there is none of that or this

She turns cold, selfless, with panic tensions

And until he comes to her welcoming arms

To her very last breath she will never be at bliss.
