Daze

Those sweet notes melting away all my negativity.

The tune causing me to drift away from tears.

The lyrics giving me inspiration to pick myself up.

The emotion of voices calms my entire body to a halt.

In peace, listening and interpreting.

Hoping the melody could be endless.

Realising this could only be a dream, I wake up to a harsh reality.
