Four Walls

Four Walls

A Poem by Siobhán Kiernan

Waking up,the sun just risen,

The birds singing.

Pulling the curtains,

Almost blinded by natures beauty.

Turning back,hearing my cutie.

Laying back down,

Hands behind head.

Realising my frown,

I jump up out of bed!

Resistant to leave the room,

For fear of feeling down and gloom.

I finally leave and surely I will feel this doom soon.
