Longing

Longing

A Poem by Siobhán Kiernan
"

A poem about a longing for something that is unreachable.

"

You were a dream,

A breath of fresh air.

Oh how I loved your hands through my hair.

It has been a long time since I knew you,

Yet I refuse to let you go.

My soul feels empty,

My heart unloved.

I picture you everyday, as mine.

Maybe we’ll meet again, we just might,

You are the reason I believe in love at first sight.
