Two glasses of wineA Poem by LadyInk
The wine was flowing on that evening
As the words spoken by the priest
The maid of honors were tearing
But of great joy to say the least
The children were twirling
And their parents danced
The colors swirling
Like in some sort of trance
The bride and groom
Greeting their friends
Never letting go
Of each others hands
The evening passed
But not their love
It remained true
To the eternal dove
And like today
Every year
They celebrate this day
With two wine glasses and a cheer
Time has passed swiftly
Since the best mans speech
The years add up to sixty
With more love with each
