2.A Chapter by Lady Schwartz
Tuesday. Nine fifteen. She was late. She should have left the house fifteen minutes ago. He was worried. Was she ill? Had she hurt herself? Slipped in the shower? He felt the familiar heat rush through his veins and the image of her showering filled his mind.
He shook his head. Damn it! Concentrate! There would be time to imagine his beautiful Lana later. He threw his phone onto the seat next to him. Her routine was off. Something could be seriously wrong. Questions flew around his head. Worries, explanations, excuses.
Anger rose to the surface. How dare she be late? How dare she make him worry?! She will make up for it. She will pay. Calm now. Calm. He sighed to himself.
Wait. Movement.
Relief penetrated his panic as she appeared. She was rushing.
She burst out of her front door. She pulled the door shut. Unlocked her car. She threw her bag in. Jumped in after it. Door closed. Engine started. Tinted windows gleamed. She sped away.
His eyes caught on something. Interesting... She forgot to lock the front door.
A thought entered his mind. I smile crept onto his lips. Very interesting...
