A Chapter by Lady Schwartz

His eyes reminded me of those of a cat’s eyes. Dark and daring yet bright and

playful. He was aware and alert. His movements graceful yet mischevious.

His eyes stuck to me as he made his way across the room. They gently followed the shape of my body up and down.

He stopped occasionally to poke at something in the darkness behind him. There was no light on here. A cool breeze drifted through the open window. The moon glittered in. A single beam landed on his face. His expression scared me. Emotionless. He kept his distance while he circled me. I was his prey.

Something caught my eye. It was metal. A heavy looking object. Accompanied by others. Different objects.

Fear fought my calm exterior. It was night time, and he was dangerous.
