What a really good poem so bold I love the visual style of writing, (as we Dutch call it Plastic") and not like rubber, but more like what you have on the tongue, directly said.... with no shame, just provoking. With this write you remind me of one of our great Dutch writers, "Jan Wolkers' Exquisite!
Good word usage for this certain poem. I read the title and for a moment what was going through my head was brushing or taking a shower but this is completely different. Of course, when trying to shave it will come back. Its human nature but the detail is off the charts. lol Great job.

This contribution is one of the most original pieces I've seen on here. I love the wording...hungarian salami.....impregnated in polymer.....really unique. Memorable.
some great descriptions here- didn't know men waxed their beards- i liked the subject matter- totally unexpected, proves that poetry can be about anything!
Wow. This is one of the most compelling bodies of words I've ever happened upon. The imagery zings. The humanity screams. The painful truth sinks in like hot grease. Brilliant. A sure favorite of mine.
Cheers!
Damn....I see this in the mirror at times...well...lots of times...lol. The visual of playing poker with fleshy chips is nightmare quality really, a Tool video with the base thumping in he background and the voices of children chanting gruesome playground rhyme with dawdle and waddle as the ending words........cool stuff, a bit creepy and piled up like the leftover skin from the thanksgiving turkey being prepped for the oven.
