children's songs

children's songs

A Poem by SkinlessFrank

now i am singing
the songs i sung
when my own children
were small

and the words come back
flowing clear water
over rocks they smooth
my edges

chords on the guitar
that haven't been
played in years
and lyrics about
foxes and geese
and dogs who need
only bones to be happy

~ haha... wow... i'm certain your presence is magical... ~ love the way you're celebrating the effect of the little one... ~ the image of those rocks speaks volumes and so does the closing of this piece... ~ minimalism is perfection... it's just incredible to be happy with a little bit of something... p.s. you're quite the musician as well... what with the tambourine and the guitar... and of course the genius musician son... :)
