adult children (number 1)

adult children (number 1)

A Poem by SkinlessFrank

my

adult children

have become cuddly now

they plop themselves

down

on the couch

next to me

wedged in tight

and heavy

against

my side

Love this one...I have adult sons and they've come back around again. Hated that period of time when they'd get all embarrassed if Mom wanted to give them a cuddle. Sweet read!

my teenage children are doing the same things, and the youngest well, she's taken to crawling in bed with us at night . . . one day they'll forget to come so close and we will miss them

mine haven't left but they're definitely too heavy to sit on me for very long though sometimes we all forget and try it any way! this is all about what christmas is- spending time with family and friends. fantastic.
