Never A Word Did She Utter

Never A Word Did She Utter

A Story by Skin

They spoke in tongues
While she played the drums
With Feathers
Never a word did she utter

They started to fight
While she flew a kite
With Breath
Never a word did she utter

They cheated and lied
While she hid inside
With Shadow
Never a word did she utter

They slew them all
While she stood tall
With Death
Never a word did she utter

Feathers
Breath
Shadow
Death

Close your eyes now
Shut them tight
And if you're lucky you just might . . . .

Hear her calling you.

Not sure why rated 18 as this is wonderful, the whole piece gives voice to your silent character especially love the ending. Thanks for the corrections on my poem and for the excellent read in returning the favour. Keep em' coming
