Her eyesA Poem by Skie blue.An angel in disguiseHer laugh was warming. The best way to wake up in morning. The smell of pancakes drifting in the air. No weight of the world dared make a care. I took her by the waist and spun her around. She smiled at me and was safe and sound. She smelled like chestnut. She smelled like sunshine. Softer than silk, but better than moonshine. Her skin was pale. Her hair was gold. Such a subtle way of being bold. She opened her eyes, smiling at me. It was then I lost the definition of misery. I tell her again. Her eyes are beautiful. She laughs at me. Are they truly beautiful? Yes. I tell her it again. Like seas I can get lost again. peering into the deep eyes. All I see are diamond skies. Falling down on a small little world. A happy laugh. A happy pearl. I see the fish swimming in colors. I see the people, laughing with mothers. I see a life that everyone desires. I see an angel lit with the fires. Fires of love and fires of joy. I see a mother with a toy. A little baby girl bouncing in her lap. I see her hair spilling under her cap. I see a mother, dancing in the wind. Her dress dancing around, she was just akind. Golden hair sprinkled her face. She looked like definition of grace. So I tell her again. Why was she kind? and she responded to me. Because your mine. I'm trapped again, under her loving gaze. I love her so. I love her face. I love her skin. I love her eyes. I love her laugh. I love her sighs. I love our life. I love her so. In her eyes I see my life. In her eyes, I see my wife.
