We are the wasted youth
The next generation
The ones who foolishly love and hate
The ones who learn along to way to find out who'll they'll be
The ones with an unpredicted future

We are the ones who surprise as we rise
We are the ones take the moment to live
To work in ways others don't understand
To procrastinate without much hesitation
To say goodbye and hello so many times until we're left alone
To look beyond the current moments, to try to comprehend what life hands us

We are the ones getting high on life
Getting s**t thrown our way hoping in the end it's worth it
Getting underestimated by those who call us "childish"
Getting put down by those who hardly know us
Getting from place to place by our feet, or new already damaged car

We are the ones who believe only what we want to believe for the moment
Loving the way our partner laughs
Loving the fact we learn something probably not very usefull
Loving those around us, as well as hating quite a few of the others
Loving the way we are, or on the way to hopfully doing so
We are the wasted youth
