Calm

Calm

A Poem by SkepticObserver
"

You rile my heart up, like a storm.

"
A violent tugging of my mast,
the ropes tighten and eerily whine
The heavens will provoke me, spitting
and with roaring lights that shatter the sky
I must struggle yet,
adrift; alone.
You rile my heart up, like a storm.
Only if I voyage through these shrieking winds
and sail far, into your depths,
will I ever know
calm.
