Travesty

Travesty

A Poem by Skelasoldier

Travesty

Lying on the brink of uncertainty

A work of art not to see the day

A wasted effort to hide your shame

With no entity to share the blame

of negligence in the foulest ways.

The dictionary describe Travesty as a serious project......but what's worth of a project if it's hidden from the world.  This is dedicated to those of you who have lost your will to express your unique ideas.  Keep up the creative juices

so I read, it is a composition that imitates or misrepresents somebody's style, usually in a humorous way; this often has been done in the medieval ages, when only artist was able to criticize his society, I was reminded by your greatly flowing poem and thanks for your comment on my new poem Rare Species, thank you.

It's a short piece but there's alot of drama and darkness in there. The message is a good, hope your friend found his mojo again.

This is very true. It is one thing to create something, but what is the point if you keep it locked away where no one may see it? Sure, you'll risk critique, but then how can you improve yourself? Great job with this. It's certainly something to make one think.

I pray your friend finds his swagga again soon.......The art must be preserved, dished out boldly, and defended........without hesitation.....I love your style my friend.........deep message with each word standing on it's own merit.......Well done.....
Peace,
Bill

true... how can you call yourself a writer or an artist an have nothing to show for it? I think people only hide their work because they are afraid of critiques.

About
The road to progress is paved in the failures of the present, I'm a living example of this. I've progressed as a writer, creating stories that I have since put into comic (Manga) form. I'm not very g.. more..
