do you know what it's like?

Do you know what it's like

to feel alone

to feel lost

to be kicked when you're down

to be on the verge of tears

to lie to people who care just so they wont worry bout you.

to feel like your only escape is death?

 if you can relate then you got a glimpse of my life

It's not really a poem... and it's not finished but I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions...

This poem reminded me of the song 'Welcome to my Life' by Simple Plan, a song that I used to listen to a lot when I was being bullied in high school. Have you heard of it?

yeah...that's kinda where I got the idea from. 'welcome to my life' is my theme song and Simple Plan is my favorite band

I have walked the bad line. I never desire death. I desire new people and new places. I left three lives and places and begin anew. Many reasons to want to escape. Yes - yes I am very familiar with this, Dreamer. There was only one lie I kept from my Dad when I was growing up and that is when he asked how I was doing and I replied, "I am doing fine."

Other than that I definitely kept my promise and was honest with him on everything. So - you are not alone in this.

As for being alone and feeling lost - our parents are always there for us. In your Autumn Years you will yearn for them, painfully. Take advantage of their wisdom and love NOW, while you are still with them ...
