Perfect Clouds

Perfect Clouds

A Poem by Jon Cooper

Gloomy
Lots of clouds
No sun
It's perfect
The weather
It's perfect
Sun drains life
Clouds be darkness
Darkness rejuvenates
Clouds calm
Sun brings chaos
Sun brings hatred
The clouds are love
The sun is anger's father
Clouds are rain's mothers
Clouds are good
The rally against the sun
The sun hides in shame
It's perfect
The overcast darkness
It's perfect
Clouds bring hope
Maybe we're not alone
They are as dark as us
The lifters of disparity
They're perfect
The clouds
They're perfect
