Broken

Broken

A Poem by Sarah Morgan
"

Yet another poem.

"

She pretends she's happy, but apart of her will always be unhappy.

See she's been broken for so long that there's really no possible way to mend the pieces.

Everything she's held in for so long now spills out through her tears from the pain she's dealt with from all the years.

People surround her, but she still feels so alone.

She believes she's destine to do all things great, but so many things stand in her way.

She wants to be first in his eyes, but it seems like she always falls in second place.

So many times she's been hurt before.

Is this time a re-occuring painful experiance?

She's grown tired and given up.

All cold and out of luck.

She wants the best, but it seems the best doesn't exist.

She just wants him to hold her without resistance.

Her dreams once was a safe resort, but now all her dreams are gruesomely distored.

Like how she frowns out of  the fact that all her sins have now been recorded.
