Need

A Poem by Enigma

Postponed needs
Reality, it cuts through every dream
Every waking moment is blank
Vacant thoughts dance across wandering eyes
A silent consolation
I understand, I always do
The emptiness that has settled on me
The restlessness becoming the dreaded immobility
Of body as well as of thoughts
My memories are consumed
My hopes are exhausted
Sometimes I wish I didn't need you at all.

This is so powerful because I feel like it truly is being shared from your heart and soul.. I honor that in you because these feelings take us so deep that we sometimes wonder if we can ever escape the hold someone else has over us. I balance the good and the bad.. Is it worth it on those miserable days to hold on? or Is it time to move on and honor your spirit..your heart..xo Well written..x

it - like life I guess... feels incomplete.

I apportion pieces to meaning,,, the rhythm is in the mind not the words. I like it because it holds reality - without self-delusion.

I think we all have times when we don't want to need someone but we do. I try to follow my heart for it is usually in the right place but alas it is such a fragile organ.
