To my life and my being

With a mere presence

Like a breath of fresh air

Washing away all my tears

An intoxicating liberation

You bring with yourself

The fragrance of hope

Illuminating the world around me

Though I look nowhere else

Except within your eyes

A sense of touch

Electrifies; revives

Erases the numbness that settled

And as the dust and cobwebs and the rotten smell

Of a decadent desire

To live a full life

Burn, in your words of love

I want to be consumed in this fire

You are not my leader

Yet I follow you out into the world of my dreams

You are not my follower

Yet, I lead you inside the deepest chambers of my heart

You walk beside me

An equally gratifying experience

To fill the gaps of your desires

As you fill mine

Fulfilling and completing each other

You are real and yet,

You fly me to an unreal realm

As the bubble of our existence

Expands to absorb the whole world and more

All I need, is you

And an eternity of love

Perhaps the end is a bit abrupt! But so is the begining, so it works. This piece is a bit whimsical for my taste but it lends itself nicely to the subject matter. Good flow and though it doesn't really have a rym scheme, many of the words ryme within the piece (can't remember what thats called). Anyway good write, I really liked it.
