Unreal experience

For the group "Creative poetry".

He looks at her with a searching glance

Her bewitching smile holds him in a trance

Oblivious to the world, lost in her eyes

Her silver threaded hair and breezy sighs

Realizes with his gaze forever intact

The enthralling sight is a true fact

Lest he should make but one move wrong

The evangelic presence might be gone

A flawless creation of an inventive mind

An epic figure lost in time

Before his earthly self, she stands

Transfixed, yet his heart demands

To hear her sing her favourite song

He knows he has waited too long

Before his voice echoes from his throat

Away she goes, she glides, she floats

 

The hellion enters, shrouded in flames

Iniquitous being with a sinister game

A formless being with burning eyes

Melting balls of burning ice

Leaps at him with outstretched arms

With every intent to cause serious harm

Fearing to be untimely dead

Back to his bed, bathed in sweat.

Author's Note

Mind-boggling reply to an equally mind-blowing challenge. *phew*
Some of the lines are simply...non-sensical. But then, I let them be. :)

It has a dreaming, drifting kind of feel...a very enjoyable read. For some reason, when I read the first group of lines, I kept thinking of Ron Weasley's crush on Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter, haha. The ending was awesome.
