Mother's Day

Mother's Day

A Poem by Enigma

Talke to myself for hours

Couldn't come up with what to say

I drowned within my guilt

I forgot the Mother's Day

I fought with her so much

Every single day

A day without the scolding

Could it be the Mother's Day

I couldn't warm my heart enough

I tried every way

I didn't know how to confront her

On the Mother's Day

I felt so dark, so cold, so numb

The feelings, they did stay

I cried but I never tried

To celebrate the Mother's Day

I wanted her to take my hand

Say, "It's gonna be okay"

But she never knew what I felt

Even on the Mother's day

Maybe next year, things will change

Maybe I'll finally say

I go and hug her saying,

"Happy Mother's Day"...

Aw...
Wow, this has a lot of emotion in it.
I can't imagine what it would be like to have a mother that wont comfort you...
I don't really have much more to say other than I'm sorry that you have to go through this. There will be something brighter, better, at the end of the tunnel :)
