Ignorance

Ignorance

A Poem by Enigma
"

Wavering thoughts...

"

I never used to cry

Coz' I didn't know that my parents fought

I used to be so happy

For every small things my dad bought

I used to feel so confident

It never occured why

Now I struggle with my broken wings

For one last try

I never lowered my gaze

Feeling ashamed of myself

I never thought twice

When someone asked my help

I never asked my friends

Of what all toys they own

And I never became sad

When I thought of my home

In the days, I knew nothing

I couldn't even speak

I knew, in the smallest of things

How happiness I could seek

Now I as I learn science and math

Life's lessons are left amissed

Someone was so true in saying

"Ignorance is such a bliss"
