I'll remember

Rhymes!

Why are you smiling, my friends would say

What has happened to you? Are you ok?

And I would just smile back, like always

But your image on my mind, it stays

I walk dreaming in the middle of the day

My friends say I'm acting weird today

They don't know, it'll be like this each day

It'll be the same in every way

 

It happened back, a few days

Still it hurts like it happened today

Hand in hand with her you walked away

And I could hardly say

Not a word, from my lips, escaped

I wish, like a memory, you'll fade

I wish my heart, still, it'd stay

As I think about the past days

When we talked, laughed and played

And then I think of today

Today when you walked away

I can hardly believe what I say

I say, "He didn't matter anyway..."

But that's a lie in every way

Coz' I'll remember you each day

I'll remember each word you say

I'll remember and miss you everyday...

Not a personal experienc. Just a new experiment with rhymes. I sure hope it doesn't sound forced, if not at some places...lol
