I walk around everyday

Thinking of you in every way

Why is it that that you fill

Seeing you, away I walk

It's pathetic to do so

Pathetic to be in love...oh!

 

Just another story of an unknown romance

That happened precisely just by chance

Things seem to work on their own

But still I hesistate to call your phone

I guess it's gonna be this way

I'll never speeak what I so badly, wanna say...

 

I think of hugs and talking hours on end

Confused about you - my crush or my friend

Finding the feeling so good to be true

Dreaming of spending some time with you

It would be, too great, a suprprise

But telling truth won't be that wise

a superb write! just loved it! could relate to it so deeply...touching me in every way...striking a chord! i mean all of us have been through such a phase at some point in our lives...you just portrayed it so beautifully siya! just loved each and every word! Can so feel every emotion!

Love this.. if this is a friend you are yearning for that is sad.. been there.. sometimes though this is the reason we want things more.. we want what we feel we can't have the most.. it would seem that way anyways sometimes... thank you for sharing and you are definitely not alone!!!

This was a MARVELOUS poem, Siya. This was one of the best poems that I've read in a while :D It flowed nicely, and had a melancholy yet happy tone to it.

This is a cut above the usual poems I see on this subject. The wording is exquisite--all the parts fit and work together like a finely-crafted old clock. You said it oh-so-well, this thing that seems to happen so much. Why can't we see clearly? Why can't we know how someone feels about us?
