You could never know...

A sweet romantic write (again)!!

I just couldn't hide behind the veil of smile

That I had created for you to see

So that you won't come to know

Of what all went insdie my head

What commotion and confusion you caused

Just by the way you looked

Oh! I was too good pretending

Maybe that's why you never came to know...

 

I created a firm barrier over my heart

But some of the intense feelings leaked throught the crevices

Leaving me blushed and embarrassed infront of you

But you never did mind

You never cared

Coz' you simply didn't know

 

I leaped, I flew whenever I got a chance

To converse

To share a bit of my life with you

All the things that have been bugging me

And all the jokes that I've always wnated to crack

Yet, it all came down to one thing

I just wanted to be with you

But, no. You could never know...

 

I lived in day-dreams and slept imagining you with me

When you encouraged, I came out with flying colours

I tried to excel, not just for me

But for you too

So that once more you'll encourage me

And once more, I'll get a chance to create a precious memory

Without you getting a wind of my deepest feelings

I knew that you should not know

What I wanted so badly to tell you

But can't musted the courage

To face the aftermath

No, you can never know

never...

I tried to follow a definite pattern. Hope you liked it...
I'm writing a poem after a long time. Just can't decide if it's good or not...

These is sweet and romantic and I am sure that many here will recognize themselves in this poem... Sometimes it is ever so difficult to express your emotions that you do not get very much further than just dropping a few hints ...
I am sure we have all been there, but not everyone has been able to write the situation down in a poem so eloquently as yours. You are a very courageous young lady!
I definitely think this is a good poem!
Though I might have a feeling you were nervous writing it, because at some places, I get the feeling you were typing with your fingers in a twist...
