It's gonna go a long way

I just can't say where

A simple innocent wish

I hope it does come true

And yet, if it does

I don't know what I'll do

 

You rule over my dreams

And make me feel so great

You fill me with love

And wash away the hate

 

As the rumours have it

They say you feel it too

Why can't you simply admit

That ou like me too!

 

It's easier said than done

I, too, understand

I guess, you're my crush

But you make a better friend

 

It's all very confusing

Distracting, by the way

Why can't we simply sort it

And say what we need to say

 

Then I won't jump to conclusions

Or drift to far off lands

If only I knew what you thought of me
