*sigh*

In this world full of shadows

The cries that escape my lips

They wander and wonder

Where all the listening ears have gone

 

Simplicity has vanished

And tears have taken it's place

It's so hard to cope up

With the world's fast growing pace

 

I still live in the memories

The ones I've cherished since long

The ones that make me feel wanted

The ones I'm turning into a song

 

And the cries, they keep on fading

Until they no longer exist

But the pain keeps coming back

It's stronger and it persists

 

All I need to stay firm

Is not the strength or weapons

I just need a hug

Or a kiss maybe on my forehead

 

A warm touch upon my heart

A soothing talk with someone

Engulf me oh! silence

As the pain and I again, become one...
