More than that...

Feeling bit ok now...

Tears are getting wiped away

Consolations are on my way

To think why I felt so bad

I've got more than I've ever had

 

Never looking beyond those lines

Where things appeared better, fine

Never trying to think straight

Giving up thinking life to be fake

 

No more tears, no more cries

No more of that, just honest tries

More of affection, more of love

More of everything dropped from above

 

More of hand-shakes, more of hugs

More of preaching to the thugs

More of joking around with friends

More of helping Dad build fence

 

More of hard studying to do

More of discussions with my crew

More of loving words to say

More of living my days away

Anyway, I didn't put much thought into this. Just wrote it coz' I felt like it...

I thought it was a lovely write. It was upbeat and positvie and trust me there is always someone out here (and that would include me right now) that need to read poems like this one. I think the 3rd stanza was my fave but loved the whole thing overall. Great job with the flow and rhyme. If you ever do find a cure for mood swings give me a yell would ya?? LOL Really, you did a great thing here, be proud of it. ;)

Very interesting peace, Very interesting indeed. I rather enjoyed reading this little bit of writing. I found it smooth and peaceful. I am not much of a reviewer, but I am a kick a** writer. So I know how hard it is to come up with a das Schreiben des Friedens (writing of this peace). I Will have to say sehr wunderbar (Very wonderful)
I really loved the last few stanza's in which you say you will do more of. Very enlightening.
