At ease

Something related to nature...

These showers of rain

Wash away my pain

And I'm happy once more

 

This sweet sunshine

Tells me its my time

And in the sky above, I soar

 

This chriping of birds

Fill me with melody

Before knowing I start to sing

 

These inviting arms

Of the blue sky

Hug me as I spread my wings

 

This flowing stream

Gushed down the crack

And makes me feel at peace

 

The soft breeze

Blowing through my hair

Such pleasure, I'm at ease...

Yes I did, as always!
The first 2 stanzas are particularily well chosen, because normally one would expect people to feel sad when it rains and happy when the sun shines, but the images you use are simple and spot on!
In fact all the stanzas are eternal, without being fluffy and sometimes the blue sky can feel just like a protective blanket... You clearly appreciate nature and feeling one with nature does make us feel more at ease!

I did, like it I mean, lol. I really enjoyed it, it was "relaxing" if that makes any sence! I loved the flow and rhyme and the imagery was excellant. I love being outside and I can just imagine the rain and sun, the birds chirping, the stream (which I would love to be by right now) and the breeze all making you at ease. What a lovely write. Really great job. ;)

yes, i did like it!
it was lovely Siya. very descriptive and what not. felt like i was there in the middle of nature with you. the most stress relieving poem i've read in a while.
