When your enemy is your friend

You misunderstand me

Time and again

You call me your enemy

When I call you my friend

 

You keep getting angry

For whatever I do

You keep hating me

And I carry on loving you

 

You keep you distance

As I try to get close

You call me fake

Think I'm putting up a show

 

You ignore me in the corridors

And spill my secrets out

You never seem to reply

My calls and shouts

 

You still hate me

But I call you my friend

I think you're a fool for acting like this

But turns out that I'm the biggest fool, in the end

My imagination took me to a place where my best friend hated me....

So very cute! You have a very sweet and lovely way of writing! A very touching subject, even though it includes hate, this poem radiates with love and tender affection. It always sucks when one of your friends turns on you, and you capture that quite well in this poem - I'm very surprised that it was all in your imagination!

I think the rhyme scheme you picked works at some points but at others it seems to box your poem in a little. You might want to release it a little more to give it some air :-)
