Amazingly brilliant! I love the format and I love your choice of words. You and I are at the same stage in life; the point where we don't know exactly who we are, but we are striving to find ourselves. Even though you never say the word "why" in this piece you are still wondering why you cannot find yourself. I know exactly what you're going through. However, don't question why things happen, but figure out what to do when it does happen. That goes for anything and everyone. Back on subject: Your closing to this poem is spectacular! It's almost as if you have written a song. Great piece of writing you've created here! Keep up the great work, my friend!
beautiful. i think these people have said it all perfectly for me. i feel like this cold potentially be molded into a song as well. quite the writer you are.

Who are we? That question plagues most of us at some point or another... or is ongoing. What is our purpose, where am I? Who?
I personally believe we are all connected to one spirit and here for a purpose. The purpose of bringing eachother back together as a whole, rather than separated as we stand now. Hence the suffering. Way deeper than this brief explanation of course, but it somewhat touches on it.
You have an incredible way of expressing yourself with words .... very creative. I just love reading your work. You're very talented Siya.
I think this was a good expression of who you are... so sad not to know who you are... but not many people know who they are... I know i still don't know the true me... Personally i think that the only time we will ever be granted the permission to know who we are is on our death bed... maybe that flash back through our life will give us who we are.... Great Job!
You should be proud about he work you did! It is so good and I'm sure everyone asks themselves questions like this. I know I have ^_^. Well anyways very good!
Wow this is a wonderful piece of writing . And Im sure if you keep using your writing to express your ideas, emotions, and opinions, you will find someone who does understand.
I like it too.... It's such a powerful piece. A question I think MANY of us ask... I often wonder if we'll ever get the answer... My psych has always said we have to keep asking ourselves that question and not wait for someone else to answer it... Anyway, GREAT poem!!!!!! LOVED it!!!
Everyone gets to a point in life where they ask this question. You really opened up in this piece and invited the readers into your emotions with this one. I like the raw honesty portrayed here, the sense of searching and bewilderment woven in the lines.
"So hard to stop pretending
And try to be myself"
These lines were my favorite. I think perhaps it is when we refuse to let others define us that we find ourselves. I really enjoyed reading this poem. Nicely written!
Hi, I'm Preeti. Nice to meet you!
I found this place around the same time I found my love for writing. To be honest, it was a time back when I could write. And I did, oh so much. I found words to b.. more..
