The Goner

The Goner

A Poem by Enigma
"

Pure Imagination

"

He has no rhythm

But still his soul sings

Even after he's gone

In my head, his voice rings

He always kept quiet

He never really said

He never truly expressed

How much he cared

He listened to everyone

But never really talked

He was with everyone

With none of them he walked

He laughed with us

But cried all alone

And now that he's gone

I've lost my home sweet home

I don't know how I came up with this. This is a result of my imagination and some inspiration from the song 'Aicha' sung by Outlandish. It might be about a father; it might be about a lover....
Read it and tell me what did it make you think???

This is very easy to relate to. I have gone through many friendship that are like this. I appreciate the fact that you showed this man's feelings with such simple and lovely flow. I thought this was nice. . .

Like you said it could be a lover or a Father, the wording works either way. I felt loneliness emanating from this poem. Very good write.

This could refer to many things, indeed. It would be interesting to learn what was in your mind. Wonderful imagination, and I'm still thinking! Thank you for sharing.
