Everyday

Everyday

Everyday I fight

Everyday I love

Everyday I pray

To the heavens, above

Everyday I fall

Everyday I try

Everyday I laugh

Everyday I cry

Everyday I'm silent

Everyday I talk

Everyday I stand still

Everyday I walk

Everyday I twinkle

Everyday I shine

Everyday I touch

Upon an unknown dream of mine

Great poem! I like the repeating of the lines. It adds more power to your words. Great poem! You are a very talented writer!

I agree, good built up stanzas, specially by using the same 'Everyday I' construction. It makes your poem's impact stronger. Everyday, we all go through the motions, most of us do not stand still to reflect. You do. That's where showers, among other things are useful for!

I like this. It has a great meaning behind the words. I know at times I feel all those things. I think you captured what emotions people go through in a day very well.
