Hmm...

A Poem by Enigma
"

Argh! I can't describe my own creations!!

"

It's a story about a girl

Who tried living in her own world

She was simple; she was a friend

She was someone who tried to understand

She kept it clear, simple and small

And yet her feelings, she'd tell them all

She always extended a helping hand

She tried growing plants in the sand

She spent her lone moments talking to God

She wanted to know why some people were frauds

At times, she silently cried

She'd never let anyone see her red eyes

But anyhow, she carried on

She knew there will be a dawn

But one day everything changed

She somehow found herself maimed

Unable to decide what to do next

Fearing she'd fail the life's test

Feeling helpless; totally confused

Seeing her like this, some felt amused

She couldn't tell what she wanted

She couldn't reply to those who taunted

She felt her thinking give away

And in her mind, night over took the day

Reaching home she felt shattered

Totally broken and battered

And slowly she drifted away onto sleep

And found herself in a beautiful dream

A gentle touch, on her hand, she felt

It felt nice, she could easily tell

She didn't look back, she closed her eyes

And admitted, why, for hours she cried

She admitted that some people she had wronged

With all that guilt, she just couldn't hang on

Subconciously, she hurt them sometimes

And this had been one of her biggest crimes

She didn't knew how to correct her mistakes

She wanted to correct, just for her sake

Her voice cracked, her strength dwindled

All her thoughts became intermingled

She lost her contact with the world

And inside her sorrow, she curled

For sometime, there came no reply

But her heart urged her to try

She felt the kind touch upon her heart

Which encouraged her for a new start

It made her realize that she was just a girl

Trying to be good to this cruel and ignorant world

She did some wrong things, she didn't meant to do

But she realized that; people who  DO admit are few

Later on she started feeeling light

And her deep sense of remorse finally died

It gave way to a new ray of hope

She knew her strengths; there was nothing she couldn't cope

As the dream came to an end

She knew that they all will understand

She always extends her helping hands

And that's the end of the story my friend

Author's Note

Enigma
It's not one of my best works, may be my worst. But I felt like writing a story in a poetic form.I won't lie, I gave up somewhere in the middle and forced the lines to rhyme. It may sound boring and unrealistic and repeating and kinda childish....but..that's upto you to decide.I hope it's not that bad!!
And yes! there are many autobiographical elements up there.....

i dont think it is bad at all... even if the form is not up to your standards but i have to admit that the story itself does hold appeal to me. it has an almost child-like innocence quality to it but yet, like a child, it shows us some of the deeper lessons that can be learned from life
