The Past, The Future and the Present

The Past, The Future and the Present

A Poem by Enigma
"

We rarely live in the present. We think about our past and worry about the future. And our present gets lost in between all this. It's time for a change.

"

Living in the moment

Is what we need to do

The past and the future remain false

The present is what's true

One has just passed away

And will never come back

We fantasize about the other one

Which hasn't arrived yet

We brood over our mistakes

Which we did on our own

We think endlessly about the possibilities

Of the seeds that we've sown

The present lies in front of us

Feeling 'it's of no use'

Above present, it's the 'past'

And the 'future' that we choose

Let's just stop thinking

Of things we did or will do

Make our present perfect

And our dreams will come true

Very to the point! What can I say, you've said it all...
That's why I use the motto cease the day (Carpe Diem)
