Arms of Death

I wrote this when I was feeling really low.I don't know how to describe it.Frankly, it's what goes through my mind when I'm upset.

 

 

Let me be at peace

Let me take some rest

Let me savor each minute

As I slip into the arms of death

 

Let me enjoy this moment

Let me truly live my life

Let me fulfil my dream

Let me...cry

 

Let me feel free as a bird

Let me be as fearless as a lion

Let me be as bitchy as I can be

Let me break my silence

 

Let me inhale the aroma

Let me break away from all wrath

Let me be at peace

As I slip into the arms of death

 

Let me express my dry emotions

Let me cry out my tears

Let me shout my silent screams

Let me overcome my fears

 

Let me go...away

Let me fly

Let me feel happy

Oh! Please let me die

 

Let the darkness fill me up

Let me clutch its chest

Let my life fade away

Into the comforting arms of death

Before coming to any conclusions, please remember that I'm no suicide freak.And this is one of my darkest poems, I guess.

It's a fantastic poem. It doesn't have to be seen as a suicidal poem either. There are people who are on their death bed who are in so much pain wishing for Death to comfort them. But I like the darkness of this poem. Great write!
