Equated Monthly Instalment

Equated Monthly Instalment

A Poem by Sixpence_nothing
"

Poem on mundaneness of modern life.

"
My life structured in equated monthly instalments

Of an instant loan, is a few days past due,

Creases of the forehead in the rearview mirror reflecting

The lucky charm on the vanity mirror prospecting

Neither reflection entirely true.

Deep breathing technique, anxiety stuck in traffic

Air conditioning off in the car and life pathetic;

Principal reducing, credit history shows multiple cheque bounces

Pride following life, slipping out of grip in ounces

Life has into the bumper collided

Fender bended, lodging online claim

Have stayed in the game for long,

Player with undefined name.
