The Man`s Mistress

The Man`s Mistress

A Poem by Alexiss Respeto

The man sitting in my right side

I think I know him from my mind

As I was holding my star buck cup

Thinking, oh yeah from the jewellery shop

His a married man I guess

Well. A noble man from the west

He has pretty blue eyes

And a seductive cute smile

Maybe that smile fades today

Definitely this time is not okay

From his bright blue eyes, tears fall

And then he receive a call

Hesitation to answer the phone

Doubt to talk to that person

Something is bothering him alone

And I knew what's going on

He answered his phone call

And I heard a woman's voice call

It seems the woman was in pain

Her tears must be like drops of rain

The man was just listening

While his precious tears came falling

I can't barely look at him

He doesn’t feel anything but shame

Then a young lady sits between us

A young pretty lady named Cass

A long friend of mine

And the mistress of this man.
