Something Beautiful

What is that which is so beautiful

That may win the hearts everywhere?

Is it the rough idea of attraction, 

Or is it that which is much more grand and fair?

What is that which we may call love?

When your dear mother cleans you up

Washes your face,

Of dust and dirt she leaves no trace,

When your father teaches you to tie your lace

Is that not a true sign of love?

When your best friend calls you from far away

So that you don't feel like your friendship went astray

So that you see that the bond is still strong,

Who cares if the distance maybe too long!

When your best friend forgives you and would understand

When he would reach out and give you a hand

So that you may rush to his place and play,

Call Of Duty:Ghosts and you say-

"I'm glad it was all in the past."

"We are true friends." he would say.

When you grow up and start to earn

When you may utilize what you have learnt,

A time when you may support your family

To bring tears of joy to your mother's eyes,

To hear your father say that he is proud.

That is love you see?

A time will come when you will find

The right partner for you my friend,

But let your destiny help you two meet

Don't over think,

For today it has become a trend.

Let your destiny decide, 

For he or she is already out there you see?

Be the truest you can be.

And is it not love, which our Creator has for us?

His love stretches to infinity and beyond

He has tied us all with this beautiful bond

And we-His creations, are given all that we need

A family who may feed

A heart which we need.

So why do we still deny?

Why must the 14th of February be the only day of 'love'?

What happened to the other days?

We look around and we find that not just the air,

But love is everywhere,

Isn't that something beautiful eh?
