Let's Run Away to MexicoA Poem by CatWhat do young lovers do when everything in life is against them? Run away to Mexico. :)Let’s Run Away to Mexico
Each tick matches its tock in Fate’s culminating clock, but you were nine months and eight days fast when the hags dangled you before me to mock our future, it too soon pattering past, Donne’s funereal bells tolling at first sight, no special moments meant to last, and all my days morphed into mourning nights, soaked to dense darkness with each thunder shock and tempest that hung over my head in sadistic spite.
But you never were a feather of Fate’s flock-- you told me let’s run away to Mexico--actually, let’s walk. © 2012 CatAuthor's Note
