Regret

Regret

A Poem by FloatingMoth

Drip
       Drip
             Drip
                    Corrosive,
        Crimson,
Chaos,
Whispers rush the winds of hollow mountains,
Tainting the sky with our tears.
Marionettes dance along the moonlit beams,
And as their shadows enclose us, my love I plea..
Breath,
Just a little slower.
Rain,
         Drizzle,
                   Drenched,
                              Ignorance,
            Acceptance,
Misery.
Hostile words on endless loops echo throughout my outer space,
My universe corrupted by stains of your presences,
The hollow mountains, become caves in my chest,
Caverns in my mentality and I beg, Darling..
Stay.
Just a while longer.
Tremble,
             Quiver,
                        Solid.
                 Stone,
        Empty,
I'm sorry...

Outstanding use of words written.
Chaos,
Whispers rush the winds of hollow mountains,
"Tainting the sky with our tears.
Marionettes dance along the moonlit beams,
And as their shadows enclose us, my love I plea..
Breath,
Just a little slower"
The above lines. Realistic and honest thoughts. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
