Constant DoubtA Poem by SergeiCritical thinking necessitates doubt in our values and traditions
In all the history of knowledge, of human discovery
exists none more holy than principle doubt in society and its cherished values of purity Yesterday's treasured tradition passed down is today's dirt, black and brown Even yesteryear's shame transforms contemporary cutthroats into lords of renown Prophets who scream plagiarisms and philosophy into pagan deserts, vast and dreary, exposed by unveiled queens to be charismatic charlatans, clever or crazy Poets and freethinkers, with legacies crowned as salacious sodomites, drunken and loud; their ghosts now frown at posthumous hero's shroud © 2018 Sergei |
