On Drugs & Other Things

On Drugs & Other Things

A Poem by Sergei
"

Arbitrary boundaries inhibit the best life

"

I’m too young to understand love

and nature

and the nature of love;

old enough for war,

for magic: turning sweat

and tears

and labour

into gilded pockets in coats of pigs who walk and talk

cigars politics nukes gays Muslims

conspiracy abounds twixt transparent boundaries

Taught to judge the art of humans by colour of paint

not by faint feelings or gushing emotions or raw realness or absurd semblance

taught to hate the Lustjäger who multiply love and silliness

in vats of acid, dank cannabis, white lines leading to open legs and wide smiles

unproductive in the reproduction of hate

detest the female; love the female

men with minds unrisen from primordial trash

dictate the yesses and the nos and the cans and the Kants

Discard the books and the crosses and the bombs and the robes and the veils

the teachings of old men and merchant women

of sexually defunct monks and kinky nuns

Discard the fear of hard c**k big tits loud laughter flaming joints

Do away with class categories preference pistols

No longer look to endless horizons and miss golden dawn of now

No longer dwell in dark rooms drowning in demons come and gone:

then shall every kiss last, every pleasurable eruption blast

away all hope and fear in a better now

for nothing beats a now with an orgasm

and a joint and a boy and a girl and wine and acid and poetry

and laughter and sadness and closeness;

in turn brightening the night darkening the day

balancing as balance should

no more taken than could be given

And boy oh boy have I taken

and been given

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'll check it out.
The assassin's creed video game and movie totally distorted this line from Vladimir Bartol's book "Alamut"... "nothing is true, everything is permitted". Your writing however does not.... at least not as far as I'm concerned.
