Silent Planet

Silent Planet

A Poem by Sir_Lansonlot
"

Keep your mouth shut, sonny

"

Orifices agape and prone to resonate.

Stone and gravel grinding to recreate,

All the sounds and noises you propagate.

Could it be that you are an impostor?

Orifices shut-in to likely alleviate,

The clusters of confusion so many investigate.

Hearing those timeless words you long to impersonate.

Would it be you that it can lust for?

Or will it die with whimpers, no bangs to abhor?

This is a silent planet.

It was silent and had no voice.

This planet will be silent.

One day, it will have no choice.

My ears grow tired of hearing all the void.

My ears grow weary of what once was all.

My ears grow tired of hearing all the void.

My ears grow tired.

...They grow tired, once more.

This is a silent planet, I swear to you.

All the things you think you hear have nothing to do -

With the natural state of what is true.

Now listen up.

I am not through.

So close your mouths before its debut.

"Orifices agape are prone to resonate.

Someone will surely steal your few -

Unrelenting ideals that fascinate."

This is a silent planet.

Why do you bellow your fakes?
