"Simple Man"

I was kind of inspired by Eminem in some of these poems on how write my rhyme schemes... this is probably one those

I am just a simple man one who tries to follow only one plan to just keep moving forward till the very end.

No time to look back and wonder about that distant past to try to not lie and never bring any new thought on what I regret don't fret over what had already happened.

Should've, could've, would've? Well I didn't so it might as well just be shouldn't, couldn't, and wouldn't.

Cause I'm just a simple man I will try not to live my small span of life thinking the what ifs and instead think on the fact of what it is.

Accept any truth no matter whether it is true to what I really wish to hear and see.

Some people will call me care free or a dull somber fellow who is just to optimistically simplistic but I am what I am to you to believe pay no matter to my actions and judge me based on past convictions. 

When finance comes to light I wish for more but will settle with what I already have in store just enough money to talk my way into a well enough life.

Now don't call me a simpleton cause I'm just a simple man one who has the common sense to understand any trouble and conflict to be a utter waste of energy and all so more importantly time.

You fall, you stand just continue on the beaten path the high road less traveled but this is just the everyday struggle of a simple man... and that is just who I am.

...Simply put I'm just a man.
